Law in Times of Ecological Crisis. A Conference at the Protestant Academy Tutzing. October 16 to 18, 2026

This October, I will return to the Protestant Academy Tutzing, this time for a conference exploring the theme “The Future of Law, the Right to a Future.” In an age of interconnected and deepening crises, I am particularly drawn to approaches that reveal how the law can become a living instrument of transformation, helping to shape pathways toward a more just and sustainable future.

I look forward to a rich exchange on both the possibilities and the limits of these approaches, as well as to the embodied and experiential elements woven into the program.

As in previous years, I will offer a workshop inviting us into a direct and tangible encounter with nature and community. Together, we will plant flower bulbs in the Academy’s park and share a moment of mindful presence and meditation.
